Hope you had a good Halloween Weekend…there were lots of activities for the kids and a few of the trick or treaters stopped by the house on Saturday night for some chocolate goodies…it was fun to see all the great costumes and how original they were.  I hope you’ll join me this Sunday night the 8th for the March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction at the Embassy Suites on Verdae Blvd beginning at 6pm.  There’ll be some fantastic food , reception and a silent and live auction as we raise money for babies that need help and is provided by the March of Dimes…..for tickets just go to our website which is magic989online.com ….see ya there…Lee

It really just hit me this morning when I got an e-mail from Shannon in Easley asking when we will start playing Christmas songs….well I can tell you that it won’t be too long from now….the weeks are flying by and yes , Magic will again be your Christmas music station for the holidays….how do you feel about us playing Christmas songs beginning earlier than anyone else…just wondering…Lee

On our recent 2nd annual GHS Children’s Hospital Radiothon, we broke last year’s record of 210-thousand and this year, we raised 260-thousand dollars for the babies and children at Children’s Hospital.  Thank you so very much for your generous donation and the money will be used for research and things not budgeted by the hospital. Needless to say it was a really great weekend for not only the employees here at Entercom but for the doctors, staff and patients at Children’s Hospital….Lee

Hope you’re having a good week…..this is a really big week for all of the Magic family.  Wednesday through Friday, we will be raising money for the babies and children of the Greenville Hospital System’s Children’s Hospital.  On Thursday and Friday ,I’ll be taking the show on the road from 10 til 2 in the hospital lobby.  We’ll be talking with families and to some of the amazing people who work at Children’s Hospital.  I hope we can count on you again this year to be a Magic Miracle Maker…..Lee

Let me say a big thank you for supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s  Light the Night Walk at Furman last night.  We had the largest turnout ever and raised lots of money for the ongoing fight against cancer.  Paul Jeter and Phyllis Dunnham were especially helpful in all that they did to make it such a success and of course all of the other volunteers.  The Daniel Lovelace Band provided the entertainment along with Taylor McCollum and  Anna  Owens…If you ever want a band for a party, I can get you fixed up with Daniel Lovelace….It was a very special evening ..thank you again..Lee
